Ashtanga yoga is a traditional practice consisting of 6 series of poses, practiced in order, with movements linked together with the breath. Traditionally Ashtanga is taught in the Mysore style which is an unled class where students are taught individually and progress at their own pace. Mysore class is also traditionally taught as a daily class, however, to accommodate busy schedules and COVID times, Mysore is being offered on a Sunday only basis. This is a great class for people with a well established Ashtanga home practice to come be amongst fellow practitioners and receive some guidance and hands on adjustments.
IMPORTANT NOTE for students who are brand new to Mysore-style Ashtanga: the purchase of a 4 week pass is required, and the first of these four classes must occur at 7:30am on the first Sunday of the month. Please reach out if you have any questions and you'll be put in touch directly with Tova.
