Yoga for Healthy Aging

A research-based program of essential practices shown to support a healthy, invigorating lifespan. Each class begins with a simple breathing practice and moves into a range of static and dynamic postures focused on flexibility, agility, balance and strength. Class additionally incorporates therabands to build strength, and methods for safely getting up and down from the floor with confidence. Rixie believes that healthy feet are a key component of aging, and thus includes foot care and strengthening exercises in each class.
